Who's Been Stealing Kitty's Grub?

Who's been stealing Kitty's grub (i.e.- moles, rats and mice alike, birds of all tweets, and random insects and amphibians...?) Joseph may have stumbled upon the answer to that question this afternoon. While pulling his lawnmower away from near the house, he discovered a snake. The snake was underneath his lawnmower and more active than any other Joseph has ever seen. He called for me (inside preparing dinner like any other loyal housewife, haha) to quickly bring a shovel.
