I Feel the Rain, I Feel the Rain, Falling Down On Me...

No, no. Not the Rain that the old Pentecostal song sins of, but still a rain that God has provided. Thank You Lord for the much needed rain!
We were in a drought for about a month here and were praying for rain. Flowers were wilting. Pets preferred to stay indoors. There was no need for cutting lawns, because the grass was no longer green nor growing.
Now, God has opened up the storm clouds! This past week it has rained on and off everyday. I suppose that is what happens when so many people are praying for the same thing; you get an abundant supply of whatever it may be.
So, here are a few pictures of the rain:

My flowers are now perky.

All this rain makes Kitty and I feel like bums.

Our Crepe Myrtle and the gloomy sky.

Kitty sitting on her "back porch" watching the rain.

Rain water resting on a Magnolia leaf.

Raindrops landing in a puddle.

Can you spot the Mocking Bird's nest? Pretty lousy place to put it. Vehicles hit it when they pull into the drive way.

Mushrooms are srouting everywhere!

  1. I am so glad for the rain also!!! We needed the refreshment! I'm sure the trees and grass were happy to have it too!
